INSIDE THE BUILD / ENGINE ASSEMBLY

Precision before
the first start.

The work that matters happens before the engine runs. From bearing clearances to cam degreeing, HondaWorx brings careful measurement to engine assembly.

  1. 01

    Measure the clearances.

Bearing checks and trial assembly establish how the components fit together.

  2. 02

    Degree the cams.

A degree wheel and dial indicators reveal the valve events, duration, overlap and cam centrelines.

  3. 03

    Check. Adjust. Assemble.

Valve-to-piston clearance checks guide the adjustments before the build comes together.
